A Seamless Endless Belt for Horizontal Flow Wrappers
A flow wrapper runs fast and stops often. Every restart puts a shock load through the belt, and a spliced joint is the first thing that gives way.
This belt is vulcanized as one endless loop with a controlled 3.00 mm target thickness, then cut, covered and machined to your drawing. It runs true from the first shift and keeps the film registration where you set it.
- Endless loop formed in the mould, no joint to open under shock load
- Thickness held to target for even seating on the pulley
- Covering compound and hardness chosen for grip and release
- Made to drawing, including holes, slots and cleats
Why the Wrong Belt Costs More Than the Belt Itself
Most buyers compare belts by price per piece. Packaging lines pay for belts in a different currency: downtime, scrap, and operator time spent re-adjusting. These are the four failures we are asked to fix most often.
Slippage under load
Film draw-down loses registration, the seal lands off-centre and the jaw crushes product instead of sealing it.
Joint cracking
A spliced belt opens at the joint, delaminates under tension and fails long before the rubber itself is worn.
Size mismatch
Width or pitch tolerance off by a fraction is enough to make the belt track off the pulley and wear the flange.
Unplanned stoppages
Premature wear forces an extra changeover. One hour of lost line output usually costs more than the whole belt order.
What You Get From This Belt
Six properties that decide how a belt behaves on a horizontal wrapper that starts and stops hundreds of times per shift.
Seamless vulcanized structure
No splice means no joint to take the shock load up, which is the usual reason a wrapper belt fails early.
Accurate thickness control
Target 3.00 mm with controlled deviation, so the belt tracks straight and does not wander on the pulley.
Custom rubber covering
Compound, colour and hardness matched to the product being wrapped, from sticky film to dry biscuits.
High-strength tensile core
Cord chosen for your load and elongation requirement, so the belt keeps its length under repeated start-stop cycles.
Precision machining
Clean holes and smooth edges for consistent mounting and clean product release.
RoHS compliant
Compliance documentation supplied with the order.
Seamless Vulcanized Structure vs. Visible Joint Connection
The joint is where a conventional endless belt fails first. We build the loop in the mould instead of closing it afterwards, so there is nothing to open up.
Our vulcanized belt
- Seamless vulcanized structure
- No joint cracking
- Strong and durable
- Longer service life
Typical spliced belt
- Visible joint connection
- Rough joint workmanship
- Easy to crack or delaminate
- Shorter service life

Where This Belt Runs
Typical stations on horizontal packaging equipment where an endless vulcanized belt is specified.
Flow wrapper infeed
Carries product into the film at a fixed pitch, so the wrapper can time the cross seal.
Horizontal sealing drive
Synchronises the sealing head with the product flow for a clean, centred seal.
Biscuit and chocolate lines
Dry, fragile product that needs a grip surface that will not mark or slip.
Tray and lidding lines
Supports trays through the sealing station without distortion.
Cartoning infeed
Transfers product from the wrapper into the cartoner at a controlled pitch.
Checkweigher and metal detector transfer
Stable transfer so weighing and detection stay accurate at speed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you make a belt from my drawing?
Yes. Send a drawing, a sample or the pulley data and we confirm structure, compound and tolerances before production.
What thickness do you supply?
Our standard target is 3.00 mm, other thicknesses are made to drawing or sample.
Do you supply custom widths?
Yes. Width is slit to your drawing or sample, and endless length is calculated from your pulley centre distance.
Why does the seamless construction matter?
Because the joint is where a spliced belt cracks and delaminates under repeated start-stop loads. A vulcanized endless loop has no joint to fail.
How fast can I get an engineering answer?
Technical enquiries are answered within 24 hours with a structure and compound recommendation.
