What Is a Rubber Flat Belt?
A rubber flat belt is a thin, light transmission or feeding belt with a rubber cover over a woven fabric carcass. It grips by friction on flat pulleys and is used on high-speed drives and feeding lines where a toothed belt would be unnecessary. Rubber flat belts absorb shock, run quietly, tolerate dust and moisture, and can be supplied endless or joined on site, which is why they remain a workhorse on textile, paper, woodworking and packaging machinery.
