What Is a Vulcanized Flat Belt?
A vulcanized flat belt is a flat belt whose rubber cover and carcass are cured together under heat and pressure into one seamless piece. There is no stitched joint or glue line, so the belt keeps a constant thickness, transmits load evenly and resists delamination. Vulcanized flat belts are used on heavy, high-speed drives and on endless conveying duties where a joint would cause a bump, slippage or premature failure.
