What Is a Flat Belt?
A flat belt is a thin, light belt with a woven nylon or polyester carcass and a rubber, PU or nylon cover. It transmits power by friction on high-speed drives and carries light products on feeding lines, running smoothly and quietly where a toothed or heavy conveyor belt would be too bulky.
Because we manufacture in our own plant, we can advise on the right compound, cord and tooth profile for your machine before you order, and back it up with sample belts for your own testing.

Should I choose an endless or open-ended flat belt?
Choose a truly endless belt for the quietest, most stable running, especially on high-speed drives. Choose an open-ended belt when the machine cannot be dismantled, so the belt can be threaded and joined on site.
Which cover is best for my application?
Rubber covers give the highest friction for driving and feeding. PU covers resist oil, abrasion and cutting. Nylon covers run quietly and slide easily for orienting and diverting duties.
Can you match the width and colour of my existing belt?
