What is the difference between a vulcanized timing belt and a normal timing belt?
A normal timing belt may be open-ended, joined or welded, depending on the application. It can work well for light conveying or simple transmission. But for machines that require stronger pulling force, higher speed or more stable positioning, the joint area becomes very important.
A vulcanized timing belt uses heat and pressure to make the joint stronger and more integrated with the belt body. This helps reduce the risk of cracking, belt separation and unstable running.
For buyers, the simple way to understand it is:
If your machine only carries light products, a standard belt may be enough.
If your machine needs stable transmission, precise positioning or long running time, a vulcanized timing belt is usually a better choice.
