What Is a Timing Belt?
A timing belt, also called a synchronous belt, is a toothed belt that meshes with a matching pulley so the two turn together without slip. Because the teeth carry the load positively, a timing belt keeps shafts in step and holds position far more accurately than a friction flat belt or V-belt. Timing belts are made in polyurethane, rubber and silicone, moulded or cast over a steel, Kevlar or aramid cord, and are the usual drive for engines, packaging machines, printers, robots and automated production lines.
Because we manufacture in our own plant, we can advise on the right compound, cord and tooth profile for your machine before you order, and back it up with sample belts for your own testing.

Key Advantages of Our Timing Belt
Every belt is engineered, moulded and inspected in house, so the advantages below are backed by real production data rather than marketing language.
One Synchronous Family
PU, rubber, silicone, vulcanized, foam-backed and machined timing belts under one roof, so a whole drive can come from one factory.
Steel, Kevlar & Aramid Cord
Choose the tension member to suit load, speed and environment, from high-strength steel to light, non-magnetic Kevlar.
Tight Pitch Accuracy
Moulds are machined to hold tooth pitch within ±0.02 mm for positioning drives that cannot tolerate slip.
Full In-House Control
Compound mixing, moulding, curing and inspection all happen in our plant, so lead times and quality stay under our control.
A Material for Every Climate
From freezer-rated silicone to oil-resistant urethane and high-grip rubber, the right compound is available for your duty.
Endless & Open-End
Truly endless belts for maximum accuracy, or open lengths with splice kits for on-site installation.
Why Buyers Choose GOODLY as Their Timing Belt Supplier
GOODLY is a belt manufacturer in Guangzhou, China, not a trading company. We control the compound, the cord, the moulding and the final inspection, which is why our timing belt keeps the same performance from the first sample to the last production batch. Send us a drawing or a used belt and we will match it, improve it if we can, and supply it on a schedule you can plan around.

Timing Belt Performance Data
The figures below are typical values from our own testing. Your exact application may need a different combination, so tell us the load, speed and environment and we will confirm.
| Pitch tolerance | ±0.02 mm on standard PU profiles |
| Working temperature | -60 °C to +200 °C depending on material |
| Tensile strength | Up to 2,400 N per 10 mm width |
| Recommended linear speed | Up to 40 m/s |
| Noise level | Low, with quiet-running tooth engagement |
| Service life | 20,000+ hours typical in normal duty |

Timing Belt Materials and Reinforcement
We select the compound and the tension member together, because the material combination is what determines how a timing belt performs over its working life.
Polyurethane
Cast body with the tightest pitch tolerance and excellent oil and abrasion resistance.
Rubber & Vulcanized
Moulded and cured rubber for high grip, shock absorption and heavy-duty drives.
Silicone
For temperature extremes, clean rooms and food-contact duties from -60 °C to +200 °C.
Steel / Kevlar Cord
Steel for maximum strength and Kevlar for a light, non-corrosive and high-speed belt.
Industries That Use Our Timing Belt
From food and packaging to printing and automated assembly, the same engineering discipline is applied to every timing belt we ship.
Custom Timing Belt Options
Almost every order we make is a variation. Tell us the machine and the product, and we will tailor the timing belt to fit.
Cut to Length
Tell us the profile and tooth number and we manufacture to your exact length, open or endless.
Cleats & Guides
Cleats, side walls, longitudinal ribs and V-guides bonded onto the back for conveying duties.
Colour & Marking
Brand colours, food-grade compounds and laser-printed logo or part number.
Special Compounds
Antistatic, food-contact, low-temperature and higher-hardness compounds available on request.

Our 8-Step Quality Control for Timing Belt
Each timing belt passes the following checkpoints before it is packed, and the records are kept against your order number.
Timing Belt Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions our customers ask most often about timing belt.
Which timing belt material should I choose?
Choose PU for the tightest pitch tolerance and oil resistance, rubber for the highest grip and shock absorption, and silicone for temperature extremes, food contact and cleanliness. Tell us the duty and we will recommend the right one.
Can you match a timing belt from a sample?
Yes. Send us a drawing, the profile and tooth count, or a used belt, and we will identify the profile, measure the pitch and quote an exact replacement or an improved version.
Do you supply truly endless timing belts?
Yes. Truly endless belts are moulded on mandrels so there is no joint, giving the best pitch accuracy for high-precision drives.
What is your minimum order quantity?
As a factory we support both prototype and volume orders. Send us your profile, width, length and annual quantity and we will quote accordingly.
How long does production take?
Standard timing belts are typically ready in 7 to 10 working days after drawing confirmation, with a few extra days if new tooling is required.
Get Your Timing Belt Quotation Today
